I’m using this as a carrying case for a double bass bow! I have no idea how it works for a pool cue, but it is perfect and protective for a 1/2 size French bow. Excellent quality cue case. Be aware that standard two-piece 58" cues will not fit in the case *with* joint protector installed on the butt end. They fit fine without joint protector.
