And revoltech knocked this out of the park.. this is my First revoltech figure, I 've heard of them before but the joints always turned me off to them, though I must say that any figure that can give himself a headlock, Is awesome! So heres the break down.... Mold/Sculpt Five Star the molding on this Spider-man is awesome, theres so much on him, the webbing on the suit is molded into the plastic, and painted black, then given a wash. The sculpting of Spider-man is also great, he looks wonderful in any pose that you put him in. as I said this is my first revoltech figure so I can not say if any of the parts are reused or not, but from what I can see theres no Paint bleeding over or scuffs... on my copy of the figure. The body sculpt does look off if you have it standing in a normal stance, but then agian this figure was made for poses. Articulation FIVE Stars Ok... This figure was made to be posed... Not talking some normal jumping, or action poses... I am talking Spider-Man worthy poses... He can give himself a head lock, swing both legs over and behind his head... theres No pose you can't get this Spider-Man into.. If you can think it up the revoltech joints will let you get it into it.as you can see in the pictures I put it into a few poses, just to show off... but this figure does not look well standing there, Revoltech made this figure with the mind set of a 'true' Spider-man figure, being able to swing from webs, squeeze into tight area's of NYC, and be agile. YES The joints in his shoulders are a double ball joint, making it look off set... but this allows for you to get his arms in any pose you can wish. the head has great rang as well, the neck is a little long if you have him 'standing' there, but looks great and works well. his upper torse nearly bends all the way forward, and enough back. his lower torso helps with any other movement you need. His legs were weird for me at first being the hips swivel around a ball joint, but swivel at a V cut but the thigh swivel allows you to rotate the leg so it looks fine. Accessories FIVE Stars Ok.. so what does Spider-Man need...? WEBBING! We get webbing, 3 kinds of it.. we get two long webbing lines to make it look like he's swinnging in the streets, two short webbing that attach to the thwipping hands, and they are off set to make it look like the webbing is coming from the wrist, and not the hand. the last one we get one flexing webbing that is tied into a loop at one end, so you can loop it around another figure to make it look like Spider-Man caught them... or you can loop it around something to make it look like he is hanging from the ceiling like in the picture, he was hung from the light fixture of my ceiling fan. He comes with 4 sets of hands.. One set of wall crawling set, One set of web thwip hands, One set of fists that have a hole in them to add the long web swinging webs into, and One set of open gripping hands for the flexing web lasso. He also comes with 4 sets of eyes to swap out with the head and a small tool to pop the eyes free. YES This figure comes with a stand... I am normally happy with the stand and articulated rod, anda clamp to hold this figure.... But Revoltech gave is all of that, Stand, Articulated Rod, A Figure Clip to hold the figure, A Small extended rod for the top of the stand... a Small Magnetic nub to attach to something metal, and attach the figure clip to it to allow you to have Spider-Man scale the wall. revoltech also added two replacement joints for the shoulders, just incase you break them or they become loose over time. All in all this Spider-Man figure blew my mind... I was not expecting this much for a figure this size.. I can't stop posing him, trying to out do the pose I did last time. I am sure that for the price, this Spider-Man is a steal.. You get a ton of accessories to recreat awesome poses. Yes he looks weird in a vanilla pose, but again, This is a figure that begs to be put into many action poses. I love this figure, and it takes a learning curve for the joints, to see how they swivel, move, and turn. Though I'm sure that you'd love this Spider-Man as much as I do. Review: Lots of fun factor - Pros: amazing articulation from this figure. So fun to articulate with. Cons: be careful with rotating and just in general handling this figure its fragile in parts of it. Some people may not like that you see the ball pegs especially doing Toyphotography. I have never purchased a revoltech or figma figure that did not come with one. **Q: Can you play with this** A: It's great for posing taking pics, etc but the joints are finicky and can come loose if not handled carefully.
