I wouldnt call it a night and day difference over the now quite old replaced wire, nor am i even sure what kind of wire the old stuff was, probably just copper clad, but the sound does seem cleaner, which has always been my experience in the past using OFC. Excellent price. And to anyone curious the leads are tinned on some sets, not on the others, and the rest is very much quality OFC. Quality purified OF copper has a much cleaner metallic appearance then your usual copper. At least the ofc wire ive purchased in the past always had a more metallic, less amber sheen to it. You have to get it in the right light to see the copper color, and this is actually, in my experience, a sign your working with very high quality, very pure copper, and this stuff, however cheap, seems to look and behave exactly as any other, albeit far more expensive, wire that i have used in the past.
