If you are looking for a pick that doesn't feel like it bends while playing which I really don't care for that feeling when I'm playing. I quickly went out and bought the Dunlap big stubby and little stubby guitar picks in 1 mm 2 mm and 3 mm. If you are used to using medium gauge pics I would recommend the 1 mm big stubby and a little stubby. I hope that helps and makes sense. **Q: Are the 1.5mm Dunlop Maxgrips a good pick for a beginning jazz acoustic guitar student?** A: These picks will work for acoustic playing.
