They’re very heavy but are very clear sleeves indeed. They’re also very floppy and impossible to stack. I don’t think they’re especially cheap either, hence only awarding a very fair 4 stars (in my opinion). If I were making one from scratch, I think I’d give it a hard cover and design it so that it could be stacked horizontally and vertically and/or with a less slidy outer cover.Nice selection of colours sent through. Can’t fault that at all. And as I said, they are clear wallets - about as clear as one can expect from such a product. As I needed to use the folders and found them to be acceptable I did not pursue the matter, but made the position clear in my feedback. I HAVE purchased Tiger display books in the past (not from the Amazon site) and have always found them to be excellent products. The pockets are sufficiently strong to stand up to heavy use, unlike some products where the pockets are so thin they split after very little use. The folders have flexible covers with a flexible spine. Midway between hard and soft covers. Consequently, they do not sit upright on the shelf so comfortably as a hard folder, particularly a full 100 pocket folder, which is clearly a pretty bulky item. They lie flat on a shelf better than their hard covered counterparts and do not slide around as easily. They are very durable and take up less space, which is particularly useful if you wish to carry them in a briefcase. Furthermore, it is far easier to copy items without removing them from the pockets, and the pockets are clear enough not to loose quality on copying items in the folder. It is easy to insert items into the pockets. Some folders I have used have pockets which are difficult to open. The pockets do not crinkle and crease as easily as some of the thinner ones do. Again, useful if you want to copy items, and essential if you wish to display artwork. Finding decent quality display folders of 100 pockets is not easy. I feel confident in recommending Tiger display folders to anyone who wants a good quality display folder at a competitive price. (My local stationary shop is cheaper than prices cited on the internet. I ordered from Amazon because my supplier ran out and I needed the folders urgently) The bulk of a full 100 pocket folder is less than a ring binder containing 100 fully filled plastic pockets. However, it is worth remembering you can easily add, delete, or alter the sequence of loose pages; something far more time consuming in a display folder. However, to display or file a completed project, they are ideal. A display folder is more secure as it is obvious if any of the content is removed. Ring binders are not good for display purposes. The holes tear, the binders can open leaving a bundle of loose papers on the table. The Tiger display folders overcome these problems and will stand up to a great deal of 'thumbing' through by staff and the public alike. I purchased these from the seller AbbeyShake.Considering Asda are selling there 40 page display books for £1.90 I would say this is a pretty good deal for a better quality display book.Overall, I'm a happy customer and would buy again.
