Die raue Seite aus Kokosfasern steht dem Pendant aus reinem Kunststoff funktional in keinster Weise nach. Die Reinigungswirkung ist ordentlich: Sogar eine Edelstahlpfanne mit leicht eingebrannten Resten bekommt man damit mit etwas Geduld sauber (dafür benutze ich sonst einen Schwamm aus Edelstahlwolle!). Was die Geruchsentwicklung anbetrifft, kann ich bestätigen, dass der Schwamm olfaktorisch recht lange unauffällig sein Dasein fristet. Die erste Reinigung in der Spülmaschine hat der Schwamm einwandfrei überstanden. Gutes Gefühl: Leider nicht ganz plastikfrei. Aber weniger Plastik = besser für die Natur = besser für uns.
