It works well enough that I reordered a second bottle. to battle a lingering problem. When you enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables, fruit flies are inevitable. You may think you are rid of them but they seem to return and if ignored multiply fast and travel everywhere especially bathrooms. The directions call for placing fluid in a small dish which does work well but uses an excessive amount of the fluid. I found a nice compromise using the smaller cover of a storage jar about 2-3 inches in diameter which works well. Will it work in the small covered trap? It works great in that trap or any other slightly closed trap but it takes much longer to capture the flies. To compensate, set out numerous traps throughout the house. If you have a big problem with fruit flies, Eco Defense can help.
