I'm guessing the seborrheic dermatitis/malasseezia yeast that was on my scalp dried up. I lifted the scalp again and washed my hair and this time I had no itching, no dandruff flakes, no scabs!!! I'm about 5 days from my last wash and I'm flake free and itch free. My scalp feels renewed. Btw, as an African American woman with a 4b hair type, I cannot wash my hair daily.
