Went with the smaller of the two which was snug at first but stretched out just enough to be a perfect fit. I ride with these gloves 4-5 times a week and they are holding up solid. Doesn't get much warmer than 80° around here and at that temperature these gloves remain comfortable. While the safety rating is not to track specs I'm certainly confident that the features that these gloves possess will be more than adequate if ever needed for protection on the street.
