Fits Ipad mini securely. No clasp to hold closed which would be a nice feature to add. The fabric on the inside has a distinct smell, but hopefully will dissipate if you leave it open to air out. It is not unbearable. Picture on case is really nice. I originally gave this a neutral rating due to no closure and the smell, however, the description does not say there is a closure on the case. I really like the case except for these two minor items. It's a very nice item and am happy with it overall. Seller has been very cooperative and we have had excellent communication. Light weight, very attractive. I got a slight problem with the standing part. I see some people complained a lot, but it works for me overall and only slips occasionally. I like that it just opens and you can stand it without pulling it out of any clips like the clip-on types employ. There's enough padding but not too much to make it bulky. Daughter had to have one, once she saw mine. The only criticism is the lines to keep from slipping could've been raised a little bit. Pu leather has a nice look and feel. Just don't drop it. I did and now the corner has a bend in it. I wish someone would make a sturdier version. It's such a nice design as opposed to a solid cover but just a little on the cheap side. You can tell the bones are just cardboard. It's pretty and fun. Don't expect it to last forever.Addendum: well, I didn't expect it to last long, but six weeks later, the sleep/wake doesn't work and its loose in the case, could fall out. Too late to return. Don't buy. It fits perfectly on my I pad mini. It was a great buy for the price! The only small issue is that it does not stand up well with the ridges that are meant for it. It has to be on a firm surface in order to work properly, and you cannot be touching the screen at the same time or it will slip. It still works for watching movies and what not.
