Review: Tank cracked and leaked after 9 months - This is a good product in concept. However, after 9 months of use the plastic tank cracked suddenly and drained all the chlorine in my yard. I cannot recommend it unless it is redesigned to make the tank stronger. Review: Defective Product - Tank leaks Model HLF-300 - This unit worked good for a few months.... far better than the predecessor, but less than a year old and fluid is streaming out the side where the fill tube is molded into the tank. Very disappointing. I thought they had a great product and never expected the tank to leak like this. I have not been able to get a hold of the manufacturer yet but from other reports, they don't warranty the tank unit. However, less than a year, they should. I will update if I get a hold of them. UPDATE #1: 9/12/2022. HASA recognizes a problem. I should be getting a replacement tank. Will update. UPDATE #2: 9/23/2022 After calling and explaining the problem, I was put in touch with a sales manager and they sent a replacement tank. It is a bit of a job replacing these. I had the unit bypassed and used a garden hose to drain the contents into the pool. I noticed after making the exchange that water was spilling over the top the next day. I took the inlet fittings out, re-taped the threads and so far it seems OK. I am almost afraid to leave for a week until I know this unit will be OK.
