It's a good size, just good enough for a small office or bedroom. I got this because the air in my room gets so dry in the winter time and there is so much static produced from the dry air. So, it does a fair job at reducing the static in my room and it's great to sleep with.It does make minimal sounds as the water level decreases in the tank, however, it's not enough to disturb you during sleep. It gives off a cool mist, and from what I can see it doesn't get anything else wet around it. Considering I have it placed on my dresser in my room right next to my cell phone charger. Essentially, it's a good buy. Good pricing and works really well. I've had zero problems with it. My only compliant is the little orange light that lights up when it's on. It's a bit bright at night when all the lights are off. So, I recommend tapping something dark over it, it you are sensitive to lighting when you're going to bed with the humidifier on. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not terrible for the price. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on November 25, 2012* I purchased this humidifier about a year ago, and it has seen about 5 months of overnight use during that period.Pros:-It was very cheap.-It does a decent job creating a comfortable level of humidity in a 13 x 15 room.Cons:-It was never very quiet to begin with, and now that it is getting older it is getting noisier. Sometimes, especially during the first hour or so of running, it gets REALLY noisy, but for some reason a good whack usually quiets it back down.-The power light is extremely bright. It is really surprisingly oh-so-bright. If you are planning on using this while you sleep, I recommend putting a piece of electrical tape or something over the light. If you don't, it will probably keep you awake. (I stole this idea from another commenter.)-The upper half, especially the tank, is very difficult to clean thoroughly. Plan on either soaking the thing in bleachy water every couple of weeks or using a humidifier anti-fungal solution. The base is somewhat easier to clean, but it does have some nooks and crannies you will need to clean with something like a toothbrush.-Its runtime on a full tank is inconsistent. Sometimes I get eight or nine hours, sometimes I get five or six. Perhaps this is a function of the ambient humidity.
