Almost all new batteries that you buy are in what they call storage mode. Which means they take each cell even a one cell battery and take them down to around 3.7 volts to 3.8 volts per cell. You should that is if your charger has a storage mode put your batteries in storage mode if your not going to be using them for an extended period of time. I just wish someone would have told me this,for I always stored my batteries with a full charge and I never could figure out why I was losing so many batteries for the simple fact of them swelling up. Alright while they are in storage mode you need to every month or month and a half take your batteries that are in storage mode and then put your charger in storage mode and then put each battery through that cycle it will give a little discharge to the ones that need it and it will give a little charge to the ones that need a little charge to bring them to that voltage of around 3.7 to 3.8 volts per cell.
