So far she has dropped it and tossed it quite a few times normally on accident, but she is a toddler after all. Yet there has been no cracks on the tablet, it has held the tablet inside the case nice and snug, and was very similar to one we had before so the transition to it was easy for our toddler. Side note: when we ordered the red case we really wanted the pink one, however, the pink one didn't have prime on it and wouldn't arrive till after the tablet arrived which was a no go for us. So we compromised and got a different color. What stuck us odd was why were the other colors available quicker than the pink one if they are in stock. Either case we kept the red one and we recommend it. Just make sure that all sides are flush with the tablet after inserting it so you may have to use your finger to lift the sides so its a better snug fit.
