I also bought the large, was way too tight. But i also have a frame of a football player, broad shoulders and stocky so it fits great in shoulders and arms, but chest/stomach area are a lil looser than needed. overall still love it.

This is legitimately one of the best flannels I own. The fit is just perfect, as I was afraid it would not fit i bought a bigger size (I'm 6 ft, 190 or 200 pounds, regular gym goer) (5.11 I'm sized L in shirts, I bought this on XL) and was no mistake; I have enough room to fit base layer or something like a thick waffle long sleeve. Color is not precisely bright but more discreate. It has double buttons on the cuffs for better adjustment. Logo on the back of the neck it's actually a rubber patch. Material is stretchy enough to have flex but not enough to be cheap spandex like. Overall if a really nice shirt and worth every penny
