A couple of watch-outs. - You’ll need a drill, 6mm masonry drill bit and rawplugs. It come with quality roundheaded screws. I fitted it to a solid wall because there’s repetitive downward force involved in its operation. I don’t think I’d be happy fitting it to a stud wall unless you can align the top 3 screws to a timber crossbeam. It performs very well and kids love it. It’s a good way to get them into recycling and helping with a chore. It really does save space in the recycling bag, probably 75% reduction. We’ve found the occasional can puts up excessive resistance and requires a lot of force, hence my comment about a solid wall being preferable. Also, one watch out, make sure the cans are empty as leaks and spills (putting the can in upside down) will put liquid down your wall. I want it in a drawer until needed and then stand it on the worktop** A: I would think it is possible, but to be honest, it won't be stable and as you go to crush the can, will probably slide across the worktop. Better if you can fix it to a wall or similar. **Q: Can this be used for baked bean cans etc** A: Not sure only used it for beer and tonic water cans sorry **Q: What height can will fit into this?** A: Crushing your own beer cans is very therapeutic and the can crusher will take cans upto 500 ml but not 568’s (Pint) **Q: Is this product magnetic or have capscity for magnets to be placed onto the product so it can be placed on the side of a fridge?** A: No, that would not work, the power you need to pull the lever to crush the can would pull the crusher of the side of the fridge, you would need super strong industrial magnets for that to work.
