I put it inside a box thinking I would send the box to my mother. The forgot about it for a while. When Christmas came and I thought I would send it to my mother. When I pulled the box out there was the most pleasing warming aroma. That’s the best easy I could describe it. So I took one out to put in my dresser drawers and sent the rest to my mother thinking I would buy more. Well my mother opened the box which completely smelled like the incense after 2 days from Chicago to Miami and she loved it. Now I have to buy more for us both. Remarkable in the most subtle way. I was disappointed to see there were only 10 sticks, however (making each stick 52 cents a piece). This is expensive for incense, but I thought if it burns as wonderful as it smells from the package, it may just be worth it.When I opened the package, I was further disappointed to see that not only was there only about 6" of actual fragrance and some was crumbling off the sticks. Either this is not well made or I was sent an old package.When it burns, it's one of those fragrances which is very good (reminds me of a softer nag champa) but so subtle that it fades into the background. I was hoping it would have been more potent and not have dissipated so quickly afterward.Like another reviewer, it might be better for a special occasion, like a ritual.Not sure if I'd buy it again. Maybe if it was stronger and lingered more.
