I would recommend that style for water activities. Another way to have a quick kit for water adventures would be to use a vacuum sealer and not vacuum out the air before sealing the bag. Depending on what would be in your kit would dictate the size of the bag you would use. Keep in mind buoyancy and the weight of items and the amount of air in the bag. *Don't use a ziplock.* I need to order a 2nd one for my trauma kit.
