It's a mild yet effective product that was recommended to me by an optometrist. It's helped me keep my eyelids clean and healthy. Note there is another version in a black container that isn't the "Plus" version. I recommend this "Plus" version because I was using the other one for a while and developed a small non-infected sty on one eyelid, which eventually went away after I started using the "Plus" version again. The package says "leave on for best results," but you can use it in the shower and rinse it off; it will still work, per my optometrist. But that would depend on the condition of your eyelids; it's best to consult your doctor. **Q: Am i applying it correctly? i was applying the foam with my finger the first couple times i used it and i ran it across my lashes as well but it burns** A: I use it as if I'm lightly "washing" my lash line but I use a q-tip and, even though they said you don't have to, I usually rinse it off. It works just as well as the pads.
