Product Description To measure Direct Current Application in automobile repair, DIY, etc. Specifications If current> 3A, the orange display lights up. The measuring range of DC current is 60A/600A. Accuracy: ±(2.5%+5). Note Before measuring the DC current, long-press and hold the Z/F key until the ZERO character appears to clear the data. To measure Alternating Current Press the "Z/F" button to swith to AC Measurement The measuring range of AC current is 60A/600A. Accuracy: ±(2.5%+5). To measure the current you need to clamp the meter around one of the wires and not the whole power cord. The power cord contains two wires carrying current and ground wire. The current in two wires always flows in opposite directions, so the magnetic fields from two wires canceling each other, therefore the meter reads 0 A. Grasp the individual current conductor to be measured and close the current clamp again. The measured conductor must be placed in the center of the clamp, otherwise, additional errors will occur. **Q: Within 1 month the voltage measurement is not working properly. No reading on voltage. Rest of functionality are okay. What is the issue?**
A: Maybe the battry needs to be changed. If a bigger issue then cleam the warranty.

**Q: Last 2 weeks ago we had to purchase ht206d multimeter. but now it shows some 1a value continuously shows in dc current screen..... what will i do?**
A: Maybe you have to push Z button to reset value, at the same time you have to open clamp of the device. To check if it works properly.

A: We are not aware as to the warranty of this item as we rarely use it and do not feel any necessity of finding if there could be a warranty against this purchase.

**Q: Can it measure low AC current such as 0.1A or 0.5A from CT?**
A: Yes ....it can measure....for batter results the wire can roll in meter clamp I turn.

This is very useful especially for those people who want a good and durable clam meter at a low price. It has all the features which you get in an expensive multimeter. Much better than expected, you can measure ac current, dc current, ac ampere, dc ampere, nvc features and many more. It is easy to operate, small in size but strong, gives very accurate results, you do not get a battery with it. You have to buy it separately
