The design change for the bags is a moot point *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2016* I received this tea and found it definitely a lot different physically than your standard mighty tea. The tea bags are a pyramid and the string is attached to the bag in a much different manner. The material that makes up this tea bag also seems slightly different than their standard bags.Their standard bags are really heavy-duty with the string connecting the bag tab to the tea bag being sewn all the way around the outside of the tea bag. With these pyramid bags it is definitely possible to pull the bag tab hard enough to break it off of the bag. With typical use though, it seems to be strong enough. It does the job in the end.I believe the shape of the bag does help a bit when it comes to draining the water out of the tea bag. I also like how a lot of the bag can be submerged without anything pushing it down. A more typical, flatter, mighty tea bag does not submerge well all on its own.Dimensions can be seen in the photos I have attached.Pros:*Submerges well by itself*Great tasting tea as alwaysCons:*Tea bag isn't as heavy duty as the original mighty tea bag(-1/2 a star)*Components seem cheaper and not as high quality (-1/4 a star)Additional Considerations:The tea tastes great, but all in all I prefer the original tea bags. These ones can break and I just prefer the hardiness of the originals even if I have to use a spoon to fully submerge the bag. This is something to keep in mind when buying these bags. Will you be using a spoon to add sugar and submerge the bag anyway? I use close to boiling water when I brew this tea and I really enjoy how the Hojicha develops as it steeps. Outstanding flavor. Price is absurd, the cost of this tea is ridiculous. I saw it on sale at the grocery store for 5.99 per box of 15 just days after receiving/opening from Amazon. Not sure why it is more than double that price online.I have had this tea many times at a local bake shop, and many times I have paid a hefty price to drink it. In an effort to save some money I tried ordering this on Amazon from the seller PTOMart. The product shipped quickly and in a few days I had the tea I'd been waiting for. The only problem was that every cup from this package I have made so far has been flat. No strong roasted flavor, it basically tastes watered down and flavorless even after allowing extra steeping time than normal. Usually it has a great smell and deep rich flavor and color. Im wondering whether or not the seller has had this tea sitting around for a while before it gets shipped out. Day after day of disappointment from the lacking flavor, color, and aroma inspired me to purchase again from the local bake shop where I was once again floored by how great this tea tastes.Be careful who you order this tea from.
