Review: Great for cold nights - This item was delivered as promised. Love the dual control so we each can set to our needs of warmth. Only bad thing we found is we washed it a couple times and on the third wash one side stopped working. Not sure why. Had to replace it but the second one has worked flawlessly. Nice blanket. **Q: I sleep on  top of blanket.  Don't like to cover up.  Can you feel the wires thru this blanket if you lie on top?**
A: Sleeping on top of the blanket is the mostly effective way for it to work with another blanket over you and the electric. I've been poor since childhood & used electric blankets as the only affordable heat since the 70s and you won't find an electric blanket from anyone that you can't feel the wiring through it. I don't know what people are thinking. You can lay another blanket on top of the electric and then you sleep under another regular blanket to get around that but the electric blanket is going to loose much of it's effectiveness like that.

If you don't really need an electric blanket and just want it for a hot water bottle effect they have back heating pads that you plug in that don't have such a wired feel.

**Q: Does the blanket itself feel warm to the touch or do you only feel warmth when under it?**
A: It's slightly warm to the touch but is wonderfully warm when you are under it! I don't think that I can ever go back to traditional blankets. I'm hooked!

**Q: Is there anything I can do if my blanket stops working?**
A: Unhook everything, including the plug in the electrical outlet. Then hook everything back up, making sure everything is tight. Don't tuck in the blanket under the mattress.

**Q: Has anyone tried to use the warranty? Mine hardly heats up at all anymore. Only used a few months.**
A: I contacted sunbeam on another blanket and I received a new blanket. So yes they do honor warranty. Just be patient it will take 6-8 weeks approximately. After you submit all that's needed from Sunbeam. I hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Even-heating electric blanket

I use a heat setting of 1 and duration of 10 hours. It is light weight and comfortably warm; however the heating elements only almost get to the edges of the top of the bed. The heating area seems to be sufficient though. We wanted a beige but settled for blue. The controllers lights are a subtle blue through the night and easy to adjust. We have not washed the blanket yet.
