I toss em into the washer with some hydrogen peroxide and run it on a low cycle. You can use a small amount of detergent, I just wouldn't wash em with any clothes. After you wash the pots it would be wise to set your washer for a quick run (with it empty) with a little detergent to clean out the washer before you use it for your clothes. You can even hand wash them, but the washer was the quickest and easiest for me. **Q: country of origin** A: A card included in a plastic bag containing the 5 grow bags states “Made with recycled fibers” and “Designed in California, Made in China.” **Q: Would it be harmful to keep the soil in the pots for storage all winter?
