I had also bought the "Schlage BE469NXCEN619 Century Touchscreen Deadbolt with Nexia Home Intelligence and Alarm, Satin Nickel (Z-Wave)" in the same shipment, and this lock is battery-powered(4pcs. AA's), so no problem with 220v here.So, I signed up for one additional home on my Nexia account, registered my bridge, mounted the lock, paired the lock, and I'm up and running in Europe.Have found a Dutch and another German supplier of Z-Wave products online(Websites in English), and I'm currently in the processof ordering sensors and light-controllers to fully automate my home here as in the Caribbean.This bridge is perfect for anyone wanting an easy, hassle free intro to home automation. Register on-line, plug it in to your internet router, and you're good to go. I personally don't mind the 99$/year/home subscription. The website is solid and intuitive, the apps are very convenient and stable, and new features are rolled out regularly. Full control of both homes on my phone, and e-mail notifications immediately if something happens. This can be set up very easily in the web-portal.There are other solutions out there(free as well), but they seem to require quite a bit of tinkering compared to the Nexia system. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Requires a service fee, but is rock solid *by P***Y on January 3, 2015* I hate paying subscriptions for home automation! I have tired to use zwave products with scalage locks using every product that exists on the market. I literally have tired every product that exists before conceding and going with Nexia. I even own a high-end home automation system that supports zwave, but it doesn't work worth a darn either. None of the other systems are reliable unless the device they are controlling is close. As soon as a signal needs repeated they all fail big time.This darn thing works perfectly. it sees devices and seamlessly relays signals to get to the locks and sensors. I have a large house with 3 floors and this is the ONLY device that can control sensors and locks on all three floors. It is stupid simple to connect to devices and it just works. The Nexia website is easy to use as well. There are times when it is best to pay a company for a service. When it comes to security, knowing what doors are locked, knowing if there is a fire or motion in the house, reliably being able to control the home from remote, etc. it is good to pay a few bucks a month. ### ⭐ The locks are expensive and work great. The problem is the bridge *by O***P on August 30, 2015* I bought this bridge unite so I could operate my front and back Schlage door locks. The locks are expensive and work great. The problem is the bridge. I pay 10 bucks a month to Nexia so my bridge will open my doors. The bridge will go out and stop working anytime it feels like it. Customer service was useless. I finally discovered that re-booting the bridge by unplugging it would solve the problem. When I found that out, I called Nexia and told them off the problem and what I found and asked if there was something wrong with my bridge unite or possible a programing upgrade I was missing. They wanted to know how far it was from bridge to lock. I told them 25 feet, which was fine. They asked how many walls were between the bridge and lock. I told them 2. Nothing wrong their I was told. Well, I was told that if I spent $45 for a Nexia light, that the light itself would act as a relay for the signal and would probably solve my problem. I asked why this was not put on their web page...that your bridge probably would not work without some sort of a repeater, and suggested that she give me the light to make a client happy and so that the system I bought would work. The lady said no. So, I told her to cancel my service. She said OK, then asked if there was anything else she could do. I told her that she hadn't done anything and that I will tell everyone I can about the crummy product and lack of customer service.
