Worked perfect. Review: THE way to remove half shafts - I don't usually write reviews, but this thing is great. I had a half shaft on a 2001 Dakota that was stuck like you wouldn't believe. It laughed at the 5lb slide hammer and 7' bar. This tool was too big to fit behind the half shaft, but that's not its fault. I cut the forks off with a grinder and took out about 5/8" and welded them back on. The opening between the forks was about 1-3/8" after. That got it moving. I did have to use a fan wrench as a spacer to get it to pop all the way off. It comes with the other fork to space it out, but it was much too thick. So if you're working on a Dakota, you may want to see if you can find a narrower one.
