Save your money and buy a spinner with a pull cord; I've had two that lasted several years. This one lasted a couple of months, the gears inside the mechanism seemingly stripped -- but who knows, because it's sealed in hard plastic and impossible to take apart. The aluminum bowl has a nice rubber base, so after your throw away all the broken plastic parts, you have a very expensive aluminum bowl. ### ⭐⭐ Not worth it, cheap toy spinner, broke after a week *by Z***N on June 6, 2020* The SS bowl, and basket are high quality. But the pump mechanism is cheap, and poorly made, like a child’s toy. After 3 uses, upon pushing the lever, the lever skips a β€œtooth” or β€œgear” and slips badly, it make a horrible noise, as if it’s breaking internally. After 6 months, and more and greater slippage, the lever no longer functions properly, rendering the spinner useless. The disparity between the high quality bowl and basket, and the utterly cheap and throw-away quality of the spinner is striking. I had been looking for a really high quality salad spinner. This is NOT it. Oh, and completely non-existent customer service too. Don’t waste your time. Find something else.
