Review: It's the same tool that the pool company uses and it's awesome! - I've been thinking about closing my pool on my own for years now and finally this year I was feeling froggy so I jumped. I watched tons of tutorials and also watched the process in person over the past few years and finally realized that the only thing I need is the right tool. This is the right tool. I was nervous about not clearing the lines out completely but this tool mitigated that fear entirely. It has incredible power and did the job within minutes. It honestly felt too good to be true so I decided to add some pool antifreeze to ease my worries. I also purchased the black hose (JED Pool Tools Premium Pump & Filter Hose, 1-1/2 in. x 4 ft, Black, Made in USA (60-345-04) desertcart's Choice) that popped up as recommended for the blower and I've got to say it's absolutely a necessity. The best part is that this thing will pay for itself in just one year. My only regret is that I wish I bought it sooner. It arrived well packaged and in new condition as you can see in the pictures and video. I really hope I get many years out of this blower but time will tell. Overall, this thing is awesome and I couldn't be happier.

**Q: New 8 foot pool. The blower is not making my main drain bubble but I shut the multivalve anyway then when i open the valve air comes out**
A: The sequence would be:  1.  Insert Gizmo tube into the skimmer.  2. Turn multi valve so only skimmer is open (bottom drain close). 3. Use Cyclone to blow all the water out of the skimmer line until only air is coming out.  4.  Pour pool antifreeze into the skimmer line.  5.  Switch multi valve so that only bottom drain in open (skinner close).  6. Use Cyclone to blow all water out of bottom drain (it should be rolling bubbles like crazy).  7.  While blowing bottom drain line have someone close off bottom drain on the multi valve. Bottom drain should then be air locked and the skimmer line should be protected by the Gizmo.

**Q: Trying to determine what the cfm and psi numbers would be so i do not damage my sprinkler system. any one know?**
A: This blower maxes out at around 5.5 - 6psi.   Your irrigation system routinely deals with much, much higher static water pressure.

CFM is a function of air movement vs resistance, and in this case is essentially useless - once the water is cleared from the lines to allow CFM to be measured, the job is already complete.  Suffice to say that, when blowing air into a 3/4" or 1" line, it will produce plenty of pressure and air movement to blow outa typical residential irrigation system.

**Q: What accessories do I need to connect the blower to a drain port on my Pentair pump?  That's how my pool company did it until they disappeared.**
A: Standard 1-1/2" PVC pipe fittings available at your local hardware store or Home Depot -if your pump is 2" they carry 1-1/2 to 2 reducer or bushings. this is awesome vacuum/ blower

I needed something better then my shop vacuum in order to blow out my pools lines. I was pleasantly surprised how fast and easy this blower worked! It's worth every dollar spent and I give it 5 stars! Keep in mind you will need to purchase a hose that fits into your pools line. And of course Amazon has that too.
