So I returned it. **Q: Do the heated panels cover the hand pockets to do double duty warming body and hands?** A: The heated pads do provide pocket warmth. Note that the pockets are not deep or large so I can fit my bare hands in them but they aren't large enough to use if I wear a pair of heavy winter gloves. So I can say it does get hot, and I can say it's very stylish. Furthermore it's easy to operate, and it fits perfect under a coat that has just enough room. But here's the problem, or should I say here's the issue: heat is produced in the belly area, the collar area, the hood area, and the back area, but no heat is produced in the chest area. In which I do not have a damaged product because you can feel the heating pads in all the mentioned spots, but you don't feel any pads in the chest area. But this doesn't mean that your entire torso won't become heated. For the heat travels throughout the entire vest which leaves you hot, or warm all over your upper body(including neck, and ears) to a degree. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice quality *by L***M on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2023* My husband loves this vest, wears mainly during various hunting seasons in Michigan (Oct 1-Dec 31) Quality is much better than expected, and it holds the charge for a very long time! He wears this probably once or twice a week, and only charges it a few times throughout the season. Several different heat zones and temperatures, easy to control. I also have the puffy coat and the heavy style work jacket. I have used it mostly in 35-45 degree weather on medium setting with all 3 sections on, I get the battery down to approx. 50% in about 2 hours or so. I also have a spare which I haven't had to use just yet. I use this to take my Dog to the dog park, and I usually am outside with him from 1-3 hours so a charge lasts even if I have to bump it up to high.I'm sure if you are only using certain sections and not all 3 then your battery life will obviously increase.It does what it says, it's a comfortable vest, keeps you warm, and it looks nice as well.
