It definitely does what it's supposed to. Feels and looks sturdy, and the stands on the bottom make for a great angle for typing and navigating. I can't say that it's great drop protection, then again if you're dropping your computer maybe you should reconsider even having one. Aside from that, this case does show finger prints pretty easily, but I don't mind that at all.
