My airlocks are getting overflowed into during fermentation.** A: How far up did you fill your jugs? Also, how much yeast did you add? I used the airlocks here. **Q: The bungs wont stay in place. They keep popping back up during fermentation. Am I doung something wrong or are they too big?** A: You probably need to dry the stopper and the inside of the bung so there is good traction. This works for me. **Q: why are these cheaper than just "water" gallon jugs??? Nothing looks different.** A: I can't answer as to the why? I have over 15 of them and constantly have all of them in use. They are a quality product, heavy duty and durable, for glass. I have not had one fail. I highly recommend North Mountain's products. 👍👍 **Q: How it will be deliver the set of 4, in 4 individual cardboard boxes?** A: One big box with a 4 way divider. ## Frequently Bought Together - North Mountain Supply 1 Gallon Glass Fermenting Jug with Handle, 6.5 Rubber Stopper, 2-Piece Airlock, Black Plastic Lid - Set of 4 - Lalvin EC-1118 Wine Yeast (10 Pack) - Champagne Yeast - Make Wine Cider Mead Kombucha At Home - 5 g Sachets - Saccharomyces cerevisiae - Sold by CAPYBARA Distributors Inc. - Fermtech - Auto Siphon Mini with 6 Ft of Food Safe Tubing & Clamp - Easy Home Brewing, Winemaking Kit, Complete System for Beer, Wine, Liquid Transfer & Fermentation Tools - Perfect for Small Batches --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/374591997-north-mountain-supply-1-gallon-glass-fermenting-jug-with-handle](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/374591997-north-mountain-supply-1-gallon-glass-fermenting-jug-with-handle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
