I had to add a 3 mm spacer ring (1 1/8" dia) to properly install/adjust my steering. This was not unexpected. I can now ride in a more upright and comfortable position. Adjustable as needed. I used it for a few days, tightening the angle adjustment screw as needed. After a proper break-in period I added 1 drop of blue Loctite to the "nut" and 1 drop to the screw and reassembled it. I let it cure for 1 day and it has remained secure ever since. It is still secure and working perfectly after 100 plus miles of riding.
