Ideal lens size, very handsome antique look and has a nice heft to it about (the weight of a DVD remote control), that gives the impression of a much more expensive piece. Looks great in the leather cup on my desk. Contrary to one reviewer, this DOES have a metal frame and the last thing I would call this, is "cheap" looking. The handle is made of a heavy grade plastic and mine has an elegant rosewood design that looks great with the gold-tone metal frame. Any truthful buyer would not be disappointed with this purchase. As power increases, lens diameter and field of view decrease. At 5 power (5X), field of view is about 1.5". At 10 power (10X), it is about 0.5". Usually, it is best to use low power for scanning larger surfaces and high power for small areas." That is a scientific fact. So if this truly had 10X magnification power, it would only be about a half inch in diameter, not 3 inches. This magnifier is closer to 2 or 3X magnification unlike what the seller is trying to say. **Q: What is the diameter of this glass?** A: The glass measures 2.75 inches and with the frame 3.2 inches. **Q: Is hard to tell by the description but are there 3 magnifying glasses in each pack?** A: No, there is only one magnifying glass per package **Q: Can this be used to find clues??** A: Carmen Electra uses it to find clues. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An impressive and eye-catching piece for my desk. *by J***J on May 15, 2017* Entirely perfect for my needs.
