The cable feels durable and well made, and I had no concerns burying it in the trench. It was also easy to terminate with RJ45 connectors, and I had no issues getting reliable connections on either end. After installation, the network has been fast and stable, and everything has worked exactly as expected. If you're looking for a quality direct burial Ethernet cable for an outdoor project, this one is a solid choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well *by on Reviewed in the United States April 12, 2026* Good price. Signal is clear. Good flex for going around corners. 500 ft ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice wire for running outside *by on Reviewed in the United States August 17, 2020* Ordered this wire because I needed to run a line from my house to shed in the rear of my property to support network cameras. This wire came and I was able to install it with ease. I was quite shocked at how thick of insulation it has. It almost looks like a cable wire. It has an outer jacket which feels very durable and will be able to withstand the elements. The wire length ran was 200 feet based on the markings on the cable. The first black layer of insulation can easily be removed using a coax stripper. I was able to terminate jacks on the ends without issue. Now I did NOT bury my wire because it was such a long run. I figured I can always just re run it if needed. It's stapled to my fence and hidden out of sight and sunlight. I would not say I was rough with installing it however I also was not gentle either. After I terminated the lines I checked my connection using my laptop. I was able to get 1Gbps out of that 200 foot run! Now I am not using this line for POE, since its CCA I just needed to get a data line out, the sheds already have power. ## Frequently Bought Together - VIVO Waterproof 500ft Bulk Cat5e Wire, CCA Ethernet Cable, UTP Pull Box, Outdoor Direct Burial, Black, CABLE-V011 - Cable Matters 100-Pack Cat 6 Pass Through RJ45 Connectors (Cat 6 Ends / Cat6 Connector / RJ45 Modular Plugs/Ethernet Plugs/Network Connector) for Solid or Stranded UTP Ethernet Cable - Gaobige rj45 Crimping Tool for Cat6 Cat5e Cat5, Sturdy Crimper for rj45 rj12/11 Pass-Through Connectors with 50pcs rj45 Cat5e Pass-Through Connectors, 50pcs Covers, Wire Stripper; Network Cable Tester --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/3716504-500ft-bulk-cat5e-ethernet-cable-wire-outdoor-direct-burial](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/3716504-500ft-bulk-cat5e-ethernet-cable-wire-outdoor-direct-burial) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
