Page measures 8-1/2" x 11".

The college rule I really enjoy because it is a shorter space between lines than wide ruled paper which is good for me because it keeps my writing smaller. The weight of the pages is really high quality too. The notebooks I use for business I write ideas and make sketches and do things in them and I try to dedicate one notebook at a time to one client. There may be more that one notebook going per client but there are never multiple clients in one notebook. These notebooks are exactly what I need to get out my ideas and keep a steady stream of thought going. I am able to really drill down an idea or flush out all the kinks in a project when I am working on one of these notebooks because the flipping back and forth from top to bottom works well for me and these are top spiral bound. But they have tear away pages so if something like a sketch or an outline needs to make it into a file then all the crazy crinkles at the top come off completely and the sheet lies flat in the file. I use a certain kind of pens with a black low smudge ink and I also use water color markers to do sketches of layouts and things C that need to be represented visually and everything stays together also I use these large lined post it’s to mark pages and hang out the edges of the tablet just slightly so I can flip to what I might need to refer to right away without having to look through every page. Versatile. High quality. Bright bright white pages waiting to be filled with the possibilities of any number of new ideas.

That's been done and sometimes quality is in the eye of the beholder. I do a lot of writing with fountain pens. I just tested this book and didn't have any bleed-through. Will that always be the case? I don't know. Time will tell. I just saw a cheaply priced book, a name I knew from school, and for practicing letters or jotting down thoughts, it looks like this notebook will do just fine and again I'll say... look at the price. If you prefer another brand, then buy that one and don't order this cheaper notebook and complain about the quality. I've whittled down my lists on notebooks as the higher priced at an average of $16/book. Those higher priced books, as of yet, haven't equaled this Mead Cambridge, plus the higher priced ones are almost always are smaller in size - such as A5 and smaller. Just as with fountain pens, no one is always going to like everything someone else does. If you need a utility notebook give it a try. If you don't like it... then you're not out a lot of money. I've paid more for books of a lesser quality. Think about it... and give it a try. There is nothing "wrong" with this notebook. It's just a matter of preference. You might find that you are pleased with both this notebook's quality AND it's price! Oh, and mine came in a padded envelope. I've had small orders shipped in boxes too large for the contents before but maybe desertcart is becoming less wasteful.
