**Q: Is it waterproof?**
A: The clay must be fired in order for it to be waterproof. Adding more water will just make the clay softer.

**Q: So my kilm finnaly broke down. Is it possible to bake this? How fragle will it be if its just air dryed?**
A: If your kiln broke you have nothing to loose by baking it. I'm not sure how long to bake it or how high. I would Google search it. It dries very hard in the kiln.

**Q: Can I fire this to 1400F?**
A: You need to fire to Cone 5 (2118 Degrees F)

**Q: Can this be used to make an ashtray?**
A: It can be used to handbuild or on a pottery wheel bu for this clay to harden it has to be fired to around 2185°F and this requires the use of a kiln. I would think you would be better off using an air dry clay and then painting the piece with acrylic paint.
