The smell is not very potent. This gallon jug last me well over a year!! Important to know is that it needs diluted for most applications!! I have used this as a disinfectant for my reptile enclosures, just dilute it and put in a spray bottle. Have used it to clean wounds on most animals as well as people. Not a sticky cleaner. Works well for what I need it to!! Never had any issues! I deep clean my reptile enclosures with this since it’s not as strong of a smell as bleach is and works great!!
