This comes with 50 sheets of wet pallette paper which takes a long time to get through. Two sponges so you can wash one and have the spare ready to use and the elastic hoop which keeps it secure and airtight. The palette makes thinning and mixing paints easy and they last significantly longer before drying. Also when it's sealed it's remarkably good at keeping the paint wet. I've gone two weeks between paint sessions at times and opened the palette to find the paint I'd used before still wet and ready to go.

**Q: Can this be used for gouache?**
A: The painter lite can indeed be used for Gouache! We also have a dedicated artist palette on the way, designed specifically with Gouache and heavy body acrylic in mind.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the actual palette (not the package)?**
A: The palette is 15cm by 20cm

**Q: What are the differences between this and the regular/non lite versions?**
A: The main differences between palette lites and V2 palettes are: 
Our V2 palettes have an advanced sealing system that requires no strap band.  
The palette lites come with single use hydration papers - V2 palettes come with reusable membranes (however upgraded membranes can be brought separately to fit the palette lite) 
Finally, the V2 palettes are larger so you have more surface area to paint on. The painter lite is more compact and preferable if there is limited desk space.

**Q: Will this hold up to Tamiya enamels, with appropriate thinner?**
A: Apologies, we would not recommend using any enamels on the wet palette.

In my opinion, this is the best paint palette available. I find it to be perfect size, since I don't tend to paint for much more than an hour or two at a time and it's absolutely perfect for its job. The lid actually seals which makes a huge difference to keeping paint overnight and the materials are all very premium. Buy this and it's the only palette you'll ever need.
