Review: Simple, well made, effective exercise tool! - It's a simple device but I have to commend the fit and finish. The sleeve feels substantial and the adjustment screw works well. The hinge is sturdy and has a good feel. The peg is solid. I'm glad I went with this style landmine vs. the kind that bolts to a rack or the floor. It slips into 2-3 plates stacked up, and the smooth paint (powder coat?) allows it to pivot easily.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: This one you dont attach it to the floor? Is it good for home workout?**
A: This one slips into 2 heavier plates to keep it stable. I place it on a bench that is 18" high. From there I can squat , press and do lunges and do an ab twist ( the best core exercise there is ). On the floor I do deadlifts, rows. Yes, it works.

**Q: Is it ok to attach 1 olympic plate (25 lbs. or over) to the base post, or, do i need to use more than 1 olympic plate?**
A: You can if you are using very little weight, otherwise it will slide (that also depends on your flooring).  I use a 45 lb bumper plate for 100 lbs or less, and a 45 stacked with a 25 if I am going heavier...

**Q: How many inches is the secure knob?**
A: It’s about an 1-1.25” in diameter. I have been using this for years now, works great. Just back the knob out to where the thread isn’t showing inside the opening and slide the barbell in. Bam!

**Q: Is there any difference in performance from this one compared to the little nubs you can put on the end of the barbell instead?**

I have never owned one of these land mine joints before but it’s awesome! There are so many workouts you can add to your home routine! This attachment is really made well, very sturdy, Fitts normal plate size, and the tightening mechanism works great!

Feels solid, olympic bar goes in easily through the slightly larger diameter opening, tightening knob closes the slack and secures the bar easily( no shaking) paint has not chipped on the base using olympic bumper 45 pound plate with the metal ring to anchor it( the base post for this is not much longer than that, was using a different one that had a much longer post, was surprised how short this was, but hasn’t been an issue so far with just the 45 as the base. Was decent price, one thing, not a negative, but I ordered the black version, picture on the product page showed just the olympic spot, the one they sent has the olympic and standard slot like the orange one they pictured, doesn’t affect its quality, so I kept it, but would like to have received the one I ordered as I don’t have any standard bars, not a complaint just a preference for detail. Worth it to not have to wedge the bar between plates or in the corner anymore.
