Review: Good enough considering OEM isn’t available - The product fits well and is relatively easy to install, aside from the center console disassembly. Being plastic, it’s obviously flimsy and is of less quality than oem, but it was the best I could find for the price since an oem part seems unavailable.
Review: Just Junk, Not Worth the Money - After reading the reviews for this, I already knew it was going to be a little bit big for my 2006 Mustang. I had to shave it down on both sides to make it fit, which was rather easy. But after only using it for only about 10 mins it snapped in half, so now I am back to where I started. The material is so thin, brittle and flimsy, that it is a purchase I regret making.

## Features

- Fitment：Compatible with Ford Mustang 2006 2007 2008 2009 Auto Shifter Trim Blind Cover(Not Compatible with Ford Mustang 2005 )
- Durable material: The auto shifter trim blind cover is made of thick ABS material, making it more durable and resistant to breaking
- Effective protection: If there is no shifter blind cover, small debris will easily fall into the shifter mechanism, causing the order-hanging device to malfunction, which is dangerous for a moving car
- Installation Tips: You need to remove the center console and half of the shift lever to replace this part. The auxiliary installation tools you need to prepare include Philips screwdriver and flat head, T-20 torx and 10mm socket and ratchet. Or install it under the guidance of a professional mechanic
- Better decoration: After installing the automatic shifter trim panel shutter cover, it is not only more convenient for you to clean the shift lever, but also can play a good decorative role, making your car look more cool and unique

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect, but make the time to install this
*by B***K on July 15, 2025*

I drive a 2009 Ford Mustang she’s a V6, the original panel for the shifter started breaking in pieces, and I could barely shift it into any of the gears my boyfriend gladly replaced it with this guy, shifts nice and smooth again, the only thing is that if you have the red light indicator for what gear you are in it does not appear with this one. It’s just all white lights on all of the gears so hopefully you know what gear you’re in by the sound I’ve driven this car for 4 years so I know what gear I’m in by the feel, so it’s not an issue for me. Perfect fit. I definitely recommend looking up a video to install this. You have to take apart the entire center console. It is not an easy task. It took my man about two hours and he is a certified technician.
