The GLS Audio Speaker Cable is a professional-grade audio accessory It is constructed from high-grade copper with a true 12 AWG or 16 AWG thickness, Features a durable, flexible 10.5mm rubber outer jacket designed for longevity and protection. The cable features 1/4 inch TS connectors on both ends. With a true 12 or 16 American Wire Gauge (AWG), indicating a thick cable capable of handling high power signals with minimal resistance Specifically designed for connecting amplifiers to speakers, making it suitable for guitar and bass setups to ensure optimal audio transmission. The GLS Audio Speaker Cable is available in a variety of lengths, which includes a convenient hook-and-loop wrap for storage. GLS Audio speaker cables are manufactured with the highest grade materials in the industry. The copper wire is rated in AWG spec which stands for "American Wire Gauge". The AWG rating was developed by the USA as a result of some wire manufacturers stating their wire was a certain spec when it really wasn't. You'll notice most imported wire and cable manufacturers will rate their wire in "G" or Gauge (not AWG). The "G" rating can be used for any wire size. For example: A 12G rated cable may only be equivalent to a 18AWG cable (or worse). There are no regulations or specifications on "G" rated cables. How can you determine if a "G" rated cable is the same spec as an AWG cable? Unfortunately, you can't unless you test the power loss per foot. Sometimes the weight may be an indicator. For example: GLS Audio 50ft 12AWG cables weigh about 4lbs whereas most of our competitors weigh about 2.5lbs. This may be a result of the copper wire gauge not being true AWG.

Review: It would be easy to spend more money - This GLS Audio 6 ft 12 AWG Speaker Cable represents an incredible value! It would be easy to spend more money, but it would be difficult to find a higher quality cable at any price. This is truly a professional grade cable made from premium materials and the quality is top-notch! I've purchased many different brands of speaker cables over the years from some of the top retailers, both mail-order and brick-n-mortar. This is the best cable I own. 12 AWG is ridiculously heavy gauge wire and will easily handle >2 kW high current amplifiers driving low impedance speakers without batting an eye at it. The 1/4" phone plug (Tip-&-Ring) connector design will give out before this cable will drop any voltage across it. You'd be hard pressed to buy the raw 1/4" plugs & wire and build your own cable for less money than this cable costs fully assembled. I'm an avid DIY-er, an E.E. by trade, and have been soldering since before I was 5; but I wouldn't even THINK about trying to build my own cables, not when these GLS cables are available at this price point. The rubber jacket is soft and flexible while the ends are neatly soldered and heat-shrunk at each end. The over-size 1/4" plugs are heavy-duty and fit my Marshall head and speaker cabinet jacks perfectly - nice and tight, but not "too" tight. There's something about just holding this cable that screams Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this cable. Trying to save a few bucks (like $4?) and purchasing a lower quality 16 or 14 AWG cable is nonsense. I can't imagine what a higher quality cable would look like, but this cable will suit ANY professional stage or PA application without breaking the bank. You can pay more, but that extra money will be wasted. Buy this cable and never look back!
Review: Awesome Cable, Awesome Price! - Let me preface what I'm going to say by stating that as a professional musician for more than 40 yrs I have purchased my share of cable; some were good,others not so great. I have to tell you that that these cables exceeded all my expectations from the price to the quality of the product. I initially needed to have longer cables to be able to extend my speakers from the stage l/r sides and wanted a bigger guage wire so I would not have any signal loss. MY current PA setup is a Yamaha EMX860ST that drives two Yamaha S115V main speakers and then I feed the monitor out to a EV Force amp that is rated at 450w per.ch. I had been using some other mfg's cables and they were cutting out after just a couple of months use. When these cables arrived, I noticed first the heavy duty construction of these cables; not just the cables but the connectors as well. They were not cheap connectors; these units are meant to make positive connections and stay put, very robust. I wanted to see if the inside was as robust as the outside. I'm also an electronics technician by trade and I was impressed by the overall workmanship and quality of the connections made; these aren't crimped connectors, these are positive solder points and care was taken to ensuring that they were done right. No "bigger the blob, better the job " with these solder joints; very well constructed and care taken to ensure that quality was behind the product. Latly, the only other thing that had taken me by surprise was the price. I told myself that I can't believe that this much quality went into a cable that is much less than the "bigger" manufacturer names out there..just icing on the cake. As long as this company is still in business and making a quality product like this, I will keep buying. I'm really wanting to start replacing my patch cables, instrument cables and microphone cables with their product to see if they are just as good. My bet is that they are!

This GLS Audio 6 ft 12 AWG Speaker Cable represents an incredible value! It would be easy to spend more money, but it would be difficult to find a higher quality cable at any price. This is truly a professional grade cable made from premium materials and the quality is top-notch! I've purchased many different brands of speaker cables over the years from some of the top retailers, both mail-order and brick-n-mortar. I have to tell you that that these cables exceeded all my expectations from the price to the quality of the product. I initially needed to have longer cables to be able to extend my speakers from the stage l/r sides and wanted a bigger guage wire so I would not have any signal loss.
