They balance they have helps them fit comfortable in your hands. I wont need another set of these for a long time. However, my friends and family will be getting these as gifts in the future. I was somewhat hesitant due to many reviews, but after a month I found this flatware to be perfect. Out of the entire set, there was one salad fork with ends that were not completely aligned, but within a minute I was able to level the tips with small pliers over a thin cloth, as not to scape. Fantastic, good heavy feel, cleans easily - I have no rust or spots. The hammered metal effect makes them great for casual or dressed up. The slotted and serving spoons were such a nice value add. Unless something changes drastically, this is a great value and product.
