Review: Excellent for Wounds with Significant Drainage - BUY THESE if you have to change the regular version more than once a day. They are significantly more expensive than the regular ones UNLESS you are changing the regular ones too often. One of these every day or every other day is way better than three or four of the regular version each day and MUCH easier on the skin. Medical supply places charge SVEN DOLLARS for ONE of these, so the price here is very good. These "supers" saved us quite a bit of money, a lot of time and much wear and tear on the patient's skin. You will have to judge whether you need them or not based on the wound you are treating, but they CAN be a big help under certain conditions and CAN be more economical than the regulars, depending upon the wound. I'm not a doctor or a nurse - just a care-giver for a family-member, so use your judgement and listen to the doctors and nurses. Especially the nurses. They have hands and eyes on things all day, every day. Oh, and don't forget there are larger dressings in this form as well.
