**Q: Which brand of store bought bread works best for this?**
A: Colonial

**Q: From the pics it looks like you have to cut off the crusts of regular bread (Wonder & Butternut) so they'll fit inside & make grilled cheese. Do you?**
A: I returned this grilled cheese maker because you could not put fit most bread in the machine.  You have to cut off the crust and more.  I even bought thin sliced bread and it was hard to close the top to cook. Also the piece that held the top down while cooking broke.  I definitely do not recommend you buy this.

**Q: Can you make grill cheese sandwiches on this?**
A: yes you can

**Q: Is 220v ?**
A: The whole thing was junk.  Don’t waste your money.  They sent me a USED one and then told me I needed to read the description.
