I'd like to wire them into my rv trailer.** A: That is a great question! I never gave that a thought. The power adapter says, "Output: 12V - 2.0A". That would tell me that the 120 house current is reduced to 12 volt output. Not sure what the amperage would be in the camper though. I finally made the choice and came across these. My wife and I were able to install them in just a few hours. We both love them. The touch on/off and dimmer switch is easy and quick. We can turn them on at one setting then turn them off. When turning them back on they stay at the same setting! These lights produce a great warm white lighting that are brighter than expected which is great! The kit comes with all the accessories needed. All I had to gather were some basic tools. Some of our lights we put up using the sticky tape and others we used the clips. The extra connecting wires and the 12ft wire made it easy to go up and over the microwave. The customer support is top notch. I spoke with them and it was obvious that they take their business serious. They were a huge help in knowing exactly what I needed to order to ensure I had the best set up. The hardware covers everything needed to install and then some. Overall, I liked the quality and the brightness of the light. The ability to dim them is a very nice feature.In fairness, I did have one issue were the switch unit "flaked" out and would not shut off properly after 3 weeks of use. I contacted the seller directly to see what could be done to fix the issue. After talking with them (for less than 60 seconds) they determined to replace the switch and I received the replacement in the next few days. Installation was just a simple; remove the old unit and put the new one in place. These were the best I could find. They installed very easily and the light from them is great. Just make sure you plan ahead. The plug for the outlet connects to the first light strip, which has to have the touch on/off/dim switch. I didn't plan it with that in mind and ended up having to realign and purchase one more strip.
