**Q: How much does one 9" plate weigh?**
A: It weighs 13 3/4oz. I have used these plates daily since purchase and they are wonderful.

**Q: diameter of center before it slopes up?**
A: about 3 3/4 inches; however, it isn't a sharp slope, so I don't feel it makes a big impact on the plate's functionality.

**Q: One reviewer mentioned that the manucturing information is stamped on the top surface of the plate. Is this correct?**
A: yes.  also please be aware that the plates are supposed to be microwave and dishwasher safe. I had a plate explode into tiny pieces in the microwave and another in the dishwasher.

**Q: Does anyone know if Duralex glass is lead free?  Perhaps Duralex would answer this question.**
A: yes, Duralex temperd glass is lead free

Great, lightweight, fun with the ribbon design around the edge. I love the size, I eat small portions and they work perfect. I also ordered the 6' set and the 6' bowls to match. Would love to find a 4" bowl that matches too. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is the print on the face side of all plate. Very strange !!
