I replace my in 6 months because my house is old and has a lot of dust plus i have 1 cat and 1 dog. **Q: Are these washable (by hand) to reuse them? Or would they not get clean/fall apart?** A: They would not fall apart, but I don't know whether they would get clean. **Q: Do they filter the air from pollen and dust?** A: Dust yes but I layer this on top of an air purifier filter..I wouldn't ask it to perform like a hepa filter **Q: can these be vacuumed 7 how long do they last?** A: Hi Angela, Vacuumed, I don't vacuum mine I blow them out with my air compressor, which cleans them pretty good, I guess you could vacuum them, how clean? don't know, but try it, ok, last??? I wouldn't reuse one longer than 2-3 months because of dust that you can't get out of them.
