Review: Dishes, clean, and no chemical smell with this product - I bought this dishwasher detergent because my other detergent left a chemical smell and a film on my drinks. I had to rinse the cup before I used it however, I just did my first wash with the seventh generation dishwasher detergent and everything was clean. We tried it and hated it: the weird artificial blue color was sus, and the industrial, chlorine-like smell that filled the kitchen during a wash was terrible. We had used Seventh Generation loose powder in our previous machine but the new one needs pods. We were so pleased to find these! They work great, dishes are clean, no chemical smell, no residue, no spots. (Personally I think the key to no spots is to skip the heat dry cycle, whch seems to bake on residue, and let things air dry.) Highly recommended!

I bought this dishwasher detergent because my other detergent left a chemical smell and a film on my drinks. I had to rinse the cup before I used it however, I just did my first wash with the seventh generation dishwasher detergent and everything was clean. There was no chemical smell when I opened the dishwasher. I think you can trust this product to get your dishes, clean without the chemicals in other products.

I’ve been a big fan of this dishwasher detergent for over 10 years, and it’s still the only one I trust. Start using since I have kid. It cleans dishes extremely well without leaving residue or strong chemical smells. I especially love the Free & Clear version because it has no fragrance but still gets everything sparkling clean. It’s also great knowing the ingredients are safer compared to many other brands. The packs dissolve well and work consistently in every cycle. After trying many different brands over the years, I always come back to this one. Most reliable.
