Need minor improvements. *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2022* 6/5/2022 Update- I ditched the case because it started yellowing. I provided a photo to go with that. Dropped the phone a couple times since and it still has superior protection it’s protection is really beyond 5 star rating. Magnet is still very strong. I still stand behind how I feel about the silent button hole, and extending the side grip texture further down, and like to add that clear shouldn’t be an option for border because of discoloration. Other than that, still a fine product.I like this case and it’s going in the right direction. For me, the biggest highlight would be the sides. Unlike other cases this one has the 45 degree angle on the side making it feel more comfortable on the hand. I never used to appreciate the rounded sides till I got my iPhone 13, and then I realize how comfortable they are. With other cases that has the same shape as the phone 13, my hand can feel fatigued at certain pressure points on the hand like the joints and palm. The phone can feel a little loose in my hand at times but more grippy when my hand gets clammy. They added some patterns to the back half on the sides but left it smooth on the top half. I recommend they redesign and add more of that pattern to extend and wrap to the top half for better grip. The patterns on the side also makes it easier to clean. I would buy again if they did. My last complaint with this case is with the rectangle around the silent mode switch. Its way too deep and with very little alterations, they can thicken up the bottom and round it off a bit to allow fingers to get into it without compromising the design. Reinforced corners are great and enhance the grip. I am hoping that the textured sides help with the yellowing that ALL of the other cases I have tried over the years have done. Phone feels secure and doesn’t budge inside the case. Both ridges on front and back are tall enough to lay phone face down/up without worrying about damaging the screen/lenses. Also works really well with other MagSafe products (I use Belkin chargers, no issues).My one gripe, and it’s a small one is the case is starting to yellow especially around the bumpers (I have the clear case). It’s TPU so it’s not surprising, but just take that into consideration when choosing a color. The red accents around the corners though are a cool accent to the overall aesthetic.The case isn’t too bulky despite adding a few millimeters to the overall width of the device.
