It really does it job. I used toxin filter before, now I switched to odor. Both are excellent, however odor is much better at tackling when neighbors outside are smoking on balcony whether it's tobacco or weed. However when Canada had a wildfire, it came to US and the toxin filter did an amazing job. Also when I was sanding walls and painting my walls the toxin filter again was king. Would have been amazing if a newer module would come out to add one more extra filter so I could add both toxin and odor, however to be honest it would be overkill. I changed the filter after 9 months. It's expensive (however considering inflation with everything double triple), but it's an investment, an investment for your health and that's worth everything. It does the trick although because of the smoke I only get about 6 months out of a set of filters.
