**Q: Can this unit only use a 48v battery storage?**
A: Yes, the 48V model is for a 48V battery bank. There are other models available for either a 12V or 24V battery bank.

**Q: are you able to parallel 2of the units together, to double the output, or to have split phase of1@120v the other@120volts with a phase shift 240 volts**
A: Yes, you can do either. If you have 2 of these you can configure them to work together to output 240V split phase power to a load center or you can parallel them to double the power.

**Q: Is the 48v model for this listing for 120v? picture shows 230v model**
A: I wish I could change my previous answer for more clarity. Be very careful when purchasing from this manufacturer. They are in Europe. Their products start off as 230v single phase 50hz. So, 230v does not mean split phase, it means single phase 230v.  Like I said in the previous answer, if you require split phase, you need two of the 120v models configured for split phase.
